Circus Vargas – The Circus With a Touch of Broadway – Comes to Roseville

We were just invited to join in the thrilling world of Circus Vargas. We are looking forward to taking a look beyond the sawdust and spangles, and peeking past the wonder and the mystique and discover why Circus Vargas is America’s Favorite Big Top Circus!

Unveiling its greatest collaboration to date, Tabares Entertainment joins forces with famed singing Ringmaster Kevin Venardos for a production of musical magnitude in its most exciting, innovative edition ever! Acting as host and master of ceremonies, Venardos skillfully melds melody with movement, adds a bit of Broadway and a splash of razzle-dazzle for an unbelievably entertaining extravaganza!

We plan to arrive thirty minutes early for the interactive pre-show where we will all get a chance to be the stars in center ring. I hear we’ll even be guided through a crash course in circus skills with host and the “Iron Chin” Jon Weiss and his lovely wife Laura. Fun times!

IT’S MUSICAL, IT’S MEMORABLE … IT’S CIRCUS VARGAS — It’s family entertainment at its finest, and it’s coming our way. The blue and gold big top will be in Roseville at the Westfield Galleria August 9 through 13 and in Sacramento at the California State Fairgrounds August 16 through 20.

For more information about Circus Vargas and to purchase tickets visit, by phone at 877-468-3861, or at the circus box office which opens one day prior to the first show.

The Greatest Show on Earth

We had a fabulous time at the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus last week.

Due to the fact that I am a Feld Family Activator, one of the perks we get to enjoy includes tickets for special shows, like this, complete with a pre-show and dinner party. Ray and I took the kiddos to this fun event, the night before we left for Miami for our cruise

Crazy, I know, but we had a blast!

It’s been a circus!

tightrope_walking Well, that was quite an exciting few days, but I made it across another tight rope as I tried to juggle everything in perfect balance.

Last Thursday we discovered that Noah had croup, Zach had swimmer’s ear, and it was suspected that Josh had bronchitis… ugh! The two days that followed were stressful, to say the least, with Ray going on an unexpected business trip as I tried to juggle soccer practices with sick babies.

I made it through some stressful moments, but then had a fun-filled weekend celebrating the lives of two little babies who will grace us with their presence in the next few weeks — Rebecca Unfried’s baby girl and my newest little nephew! I am so thrilled to have babies around again!!

I’ve begun making mental lists, today, in preparation for a much-anticipated anniversary trip Ray and I are blessed to be able to take… Just the two of us are going on a Carribbean cruise, thanks to Walmart (and plenty of peeps taking good care of our kiddos)!! WOOT! There is much to be done as I make last minute arrangements for the kiddos, pack a family of eight, and figure out which excursions we’ll be taking in Jamaica and the Grand Caymans! Am I really going to those places?

The night before we leave for Florida, we will be taking our kiddos to the circus. Can you believe how crazy we are? We are all looking forward to it, but since we’ll be gone during the time I am usually packing and stressing out, I am trying to get things done a bit earlier than I normally would. Wish this procrastinator some luck, would ya?

The last several days have been crazy, but this coming week will be a whirlwind.

My goal to keep everything in balance, as I make it across yet another tight rope.

Oh, I almost forgot… If the circus sounds fun to you, you may want to consider taking your kiddos to see the Ringling Brothers Circus, “Zing, Zang, Zoom!” You can purchase a 4-pack of tickets for only $44 by logging onto and entering the coupon code: MOM.
