I’m home…

Within five minutes of being welcomed home, I was running through the airport, with three little ones in tow, looking for a restroom before an accident.

Within forty minutes of receiving hugs and kisses from kiddos who missed their mama, I was reprimanding them for being too loud in the restaurant.

Within two hours of being peppered with stories and questions from six excited children, I was urging them to be still so I could finish my dinner.

Within four hours of being reunited, I was kissing each of my kiddos goodnight, thinking of how much I missed each one of them while I was away.

Even with all of the little frustrations that come with being a mom, it’s so good to be home.

Isn’t it amazing how even the things that can stress you out the most can be what you miss most when you’re away from home?

Maybe I’m dense but I can’t figure out how to access an older post on your site. I don’t see anywhere that I can click on to see the post from the day before. I was hoping you could help me out. Thanks.

I couldn’t agree more. There’s nothing like the sound of your kids shouting “Mommy” with such love and glee when you return home from a trip. They definitely make us crazy, but it’s a good kind of crazy, isn’t it?

I’m ready to hop on the next plane to Chicago ha ha. My husband somehow managed to get them out of their routines while I was away and they have been more than a handful since I’ve been home. Although hearing Marisol announce to everyone at the airport as we were waiting for my bags that daddy wiped her poopy bottom was pretty freaking hilarious and seeing their little faces light up as I walked through the airport door almost made me cry.
