A Little Something for the #BlissdomBabies

By Christine

BD_Pink4In a little over a week I will be attending one of the most anticipated bloggy conferences of the year, and my personal favorite – BLISSDOM ’10

Excitement has been building for many months. Posts have been written on how to prepare and what to expect. There is much talk about what to wear and which shoes to pack; whether to bring an extra bag for swag; and, for mamas bringing their precious babies, whether or not to bring the stroller. Newbies are getting advice from alumni. Questions about how many business cards to order were silenced by the fact that Blissdom attendees received a Poken, from ConAgra, in a fabulous Prep for Bliss package.

If you are anything like me, you’re more than just a bit anxious now to see our plans come to fruition, as we count down the days. Plans to see friends and meet our blogging heroes. Plans to squee and hug and cry. Plans to learn from each other and build on and create lasting relationships. Plans to stay up late and get up early. Plans to get our bliss on.

I am very excited that my good friend, Rebecca, and her beautiful baby, Anna, will be joining me on my trek to Nashville for the weekend. I don’t have any teeny babies who I must bring along, but I’ve been thinking about all I would do to make it easiest on myself and on others, if I did. Soooo, I’ve been working with a few of my favorite companies and PR peeps, and together we’re gathering some goodies to help make mama’s job as blissful as possible during the conference. Not just Mama Rebecca, but all Blissdom Mamas!

Here’s where I need your help. I already have a pretty good list of Mamas who are bringing their babies, BUT if you are Mama to one of our #BlissdomBabies, please link up, leave me a comment with your baby’s gender and age. Trust me, you’ll be thrilled with what I have in mind for you and your babies!

.

If you are a company who would like to help me bless these brave mamas, who are bringing their beautiful babes to Blissdom, please email me at fromdatestodiapers@gmail.com for more information!

DH and I chatted about it and agree that we’re concerned it would mess up Pineapple’s schedule too much to be away…and he wants me to have ‘Rachael time.’ I explained that much of this may be spent crying from missing Pineapple but he said he’d miss her, too and I’ll have fun stuff to keep me busy ; ) I’m betting he’s right!

Looking forward to meeting all the other kiddos, though!:)
